Laura Wofford, Realtor

Laura grew up in Memphis, TN, but has called Mississippi home for over 25 years now. She graduated from the University of Mississippi, where she met her husband, Walt, of 21 years. Walt founded NeighborHouse in 2011 with his college buddy, Dallis Ketchum (who Laura actually grew up with in Memphis). In 2021, after many years of working for a college ministry, Laura decided to get her real estate license and join the real estate brokerage that she had loved and supported for a decade. Laura has loved being a part of the NeighborHouse team, and has particularly enjoyed the commaraderie of the small family-like atmosphere among the agents. She really enjoys meeting new people and providing her services to help her clients through the sometimes overwhelming process of buying or selling a home. Working with first time home buyers has been a particular enjoyment for Laura, and she is skilled at helping her clients navigate the steps from getting preapproved for a loan, to receiving the keys to their new home at closing!

Laura and Walt have 3 kids: Hattie (15), Martin (10) and Anna (8). They are members of First Presbyterian Church, and they live in the historic Belhaven neighborhood where they have lived for over 15 years. She and Walt have loved watching their neighborhood evolve and grow, and they are excited that Belhaven now has its own Town Center! The BTC (as it is affectionately known) is the hub of a thriving collection of restaurants, businesses, and meeting spaces, and the Woffords can frequently be seen enjoying Mayday ice cream, a beer at Fertile Ground or just visiting with friends and neighbors! In her spare time, Laura enjoys photography, playing guitar and singing, running, volunteering at church and in her neighborhood, traveling, spending time with her family, and doing most things outdoors!
